Step 9: Finish Stacking

Finish stacking the walls and be sure to brace if necessary. Unless the pool is exceptionally deep, the ICF walls may not need to be braced as in traditional ICF wall construction. In many cases, it will be sufficient to strap a 2×4 to the wall as an attachment point to push the wall into plumb. You can also strap potential problem areas in the wall with a flexible material such as masonite.

Step 9: Finish stacking your walls. Use strapping around any common seams or potential weak areas. If the wall of the pool exceeds three or four courses, it will be necessary to brace the walls.
