Step 8: Shim and Trim

Although your footings should be level, it may be necessary to make some slight adjustments. After the first 2 or 3 courses have been stacked you can shim and trim the block to bring it to level. Spot glue at the base of the wall to hold it in place. Be sure not to add too much foam adhesive since it will expand and could lift the wall out of level.
