Step 3: Form the Pool Footings

Form the footing frames and place reinforcements according to engineering and local building codes. Just like with building footings, exact specifications per building codes will vary by region.

The example above utilizes Form-A-Drain which stays in place after the footings are poured and acts as a drain system on both sides of the footing. Footings can also be formed with lumber or other approved methods.
