Step 16: Prepare to Pour Walls

Prepare the pool walls for the concrete pour by using duct tape to openings from lights, plumbing, or other components to prevent concrete infiltration.

Make sure to cover any areas that you would like to keep free from concrete. In the example above, we used duct tape to cover the floor drain and the pool lights. Covering these areas before the pour will make for an easy cleanup and less work later.
