Step 28: Apply BuildCrete Pool Plaster

Using general plaster and stucco application techniques, BuildCrete can be applied directly to the foam walls.

Rough the foam using a rasp, apply a scratch coat, then lay in fiberglass mesh. Finish the top-coat immediately and build up to 3/8 inch more.

Note that for smooth finishes, the plaster may need to be applied to the pool walls in sections.
