Start With the End in Mind
Know the needs of your finished project and plan how you want to get there. The first step to a successful pour is checking your order when it arrives on site.
Check your order as soon as it’s delivered to ensure that order is correct and that nothing has been damaged in transit. Contact BuildBlock immediately if there is an issue with your order. Take photos or save the labels from block bundles. This will help BuildBlock track any issues through the manufacturing, packaging or shipping process. Inspect everything before you sign the Bill of Lading for the order.
Moving Blocks Around the Site
Bundles should be carried carefully around the jobsite (easily accomplished with 2 people) to keep blocks in pristine condition. Never roll bundles around the site because this can damage the interlock or the blocks themselves. Even though they are light, these forms are the foundation for your future wall. Handling these bundles with care ensures that you’re putting the best product into your wall. On smooth flat surfaces, the blocks are easily slid as well.
