Inspect the Jobsite
Walk around the jobsite and check to make sure you’re ready to pour concrete.
1. Make sure your job site is accessible to ready mix trucks, pump trucks, and/or line pumps.
2. Make sure your pump truck has ample time to set up before the concrete arrives.
3. A wash out location has been determined for your ready mix trucks and pumpers.
4. Verify that the job site is clean.
5. Remove any debris or obstacles that could get in the way during the pour.
6. Ensure that the proper tools are in place for the pour including additional strapping, wood, and other materials in case any problems are encountered.
7. Re-check your walk boards or scaffolding for security and stability.
