1. Verify the location of all vertical dowels.

2. Check that vertical reinforcing lines up with the footing dowels to stay within non-contact lap specifications.

3. Ensure vertical reinforcing is placed between the horizontal rebar to hold it in proper alignment.

4. Verify correct lintel steel is placed across all openings.

5. Mark the top course for the location of anchor bolts.

6. Make sure anchor bolts are on site and are the correct length to meet code.

7. Ensure that when embedded there is sufficient height above the top plate with thread to tighten bolts.

8. If desired, trim off interlocking nubs for a smooth top plate surface to screed to.

9. Ensure that wall cavity is clear of waste or debris before pouring.
